Creative Counselling offers a safe space wherein one may discuss their creative journey and come to identify any creative blocks they may face along the way. There may be other challenges too, but we will take a look at the following within the context of your current projects:
- Do you live with any fear blocks? Do you doubt yourself and your work?
- Is your inner-perfectionist truly seeking perfection, or running from publication?
- Are you attached to pieces of your own writing that are better off being discarded?
- Do you start lots of things and finish nothing?
- Are you a procrastinator? Do you need us to set you deadlines and create targets between sessions?
- Are you relying on validation from others? Do you want to validate yourself instead?
- Why are you writing? To chase a dream of money, or because it is who you are?
- Do you need help managing the financial strain of self-publishing?
Where you already flow as a writer, you can simply bring your projects to the space and process what you need to process. Being a rather solitary activity, writers can bring their writing self to this space and benefit from being able to think out loud and discover for themselves the direction they will take.

Writing and self-publishing can become a lonely ride along the paths of the unknown. It is our mission to support your creative processes, nurture your talent, and help unleash wave after wave of creative development. Producing something worthy of your time and energy can mean walking a long and arduous road, we help to bypass the trial and error phases of self-publication so that clients can reach their final destination (a book) sooner than they would were they travelling without a road map.
Having self-published our own books, we know the learning curves ahead of you, as well as the very many ways that your time and money will potentially be wasted. We are here to point you in the right direction and encourage your independence as a self-publishing author. We provide a zero-BS policy, since to allow you to waste your own time would mean that we also waste our time, which is not something we will ever willingly do. However, sometimes ground zero is enriched by your ‘wrong’ ideas and missteps, which means that any detours might come to be seen as fertiliser for any growing and developing projects.

Maybe you are halfway through a project and have reached what feels like a stalemate, or perhaps you sit thinking and struggle to get doing. All the same, maybe a little self-compassion and kindness, as well as the odd kick up the behind will support you as you endeavour to create yourself, as well as your own world, wonders and inspired products and pieces of artistry.
Contract Duration:
We advise 3 sessions at a minimum, but will accept a single session application for those not ready to commit to the creative collaboration, for those who prefer the idea of simply dipping their toe in the waters of the unknown. Hopefully this taster session will be enough to safely guide you onwards in a direction that is best for you.

What Happens Next?
Once you have submitted your application, we endeavour to respond within 20 working days, yet during busy times of print and publishing, this may extend to 60 days, which we apologise for in advance. However, once your application has been worked through, we will be in touch to organise payment and schedule your first appointment. No matter your time-zone, we make certain you can access this creative support service.
The Creative Heart
We propose to work with your natural flow and nature, for us, true creation’s source is your heart and centre. There is a divine light in conceptualisation and creation, and when harnessed and shaped into the truest form we have – The Arts, it will become a blessing to all who see, hear, touch and absorb it.
The world enjoys promoting linear thinking and rational thought processes, but when it comes to creativity, although logic and reason play their roles, divergent, out of the box thoughts can often inspire greatness, as well as change. Einstein was an incredibly free and divergent thinker, able to pose questions that nobody else would think of, and he wrote a new paradigm into existence.
To create a new world, to provoke change, we must rely on the arts, not wars, violence and other harmful elicit forms of conflict, we must balance the scales towards The Light. We aim to treasure every idea, notion and wave of conscious creation as though we were holding, in presence, a delicate and vulnerable piece of your own self.
Safety is an important concept for creatives to embrace because, when safe, their insides will be freer to deliver themselves openly and in honest faith to the world around them. We hope to become the safe space relied upon, that is all.
Entering ‘The Flow State’…

For us, creativity has zero start and end point, it is a dynamic evolution of heart, body, mind and environment, one that begins and ends with you. We will reflect upon the fruits of our own unique lifelong endeavours, which resulted in living in a perpetual flow state, a state of little planning, and of enabling what lives within to find the safest and most direct way out of us.
In this objective driven world, we aim to embrace the true nature of ‘the flow state’, which unveils itself by walking a step at a time. Most creatives will accept the flow state as a lived thing they have experienced, a state of being there creating, of being the creative process as it flows from your inward world into the outward one; they will know how this ebbs and surges in waves of time, and that there is not always a thing to control or plan for.
For yourself or for money?
Intentions matter greatly, and those who struggle because of control, time, money and fear in general, can benefit greatly from our Creative Counselling Service, it may help one feel less alone and support a person towards feeling more empowered in their present circumstance and position. Letting go of money in particular can become really challenging, but thinking money matters too much results in its influence over your designs, concepts and choices over creation. Time, time is also a fantastic word to let go of as you step forward, outside of time there is a freedom beyond freedom.
To be free of money is to truly create with expression of soul and spirit. The act of creation, the kind we refer to at least, is a matter of the heart, it flows from the heart, and the heart is the place that we will guide you towards (replace the word if you need to, to your gut, your instinct, intuition, the words are interchangeable). A connection to yourself and all of your magical inwards resources reawakens the creative flow state, an instinctive process that will unleash your energy and channel it into an outcome worthy of your time, passion and money.
